stupid firefox and Konq??


ok for years Ive trained myself NOT to use the address bar when surfing and it would appear that this is the only way to enter an url in firefox or am I missing something?? in moz,konq and IE I go to file,open and viola type url go am I just being blind or is address bar the only place to enter an url?? and how do you block pop-ups in kong its based on gecko-mozilla so its gotta be there somewhere but Ill be damned if I can find it yes I looked in settings but I cant find it

I don't understand this. You would rather go to File->Open-> and type the URL of where you want to go rather then doing Alt+D-> and typing the URL you want to go to? I'm afraid firefox does not have this functionality that IE or konq does and I believe its for good reason. Its a feature that not many people use.

ok well that takes care of that...how about popup blocking in konq??

In /usr/share/apps/khtml/css there is a file quirks.css just add to the end of that file the .css files from http://www.gozer.org/mozilla/ad_blocking/
