startx or init 4 in Slackware

I'm using xp as well as slackware. Acording to help and support center of XP :

Display
Type: Default Monitor
color: True color (24 Bit)
Resolution:1024x768

Video Card
Model : Intel(R) 82810E Graphics Controller
Memory size: 32MB
Screen refreh rate of monitor 60 HZ

PS/2 Mouse
Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard

I am confused at xorgconfigure

Which Vertical sync mode should be used
and which card should be used.
There is no option for my video card.

Thanks for that answer but again, but *please* post the output of following command, typed as root, after you have typed 'startx':

grep "(EE)" /var/log/Xorg.O.log

This will allow us to see what X complains about in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf and tell you how to fix it.

Plus, you don't need any special driver for this card, 'Driver "vesa"' will do.

I became successful to run Slackware in graphical mode
