squid problem


Hi

i have centos5.3 with squid 2.6 installed , i am facing problem that my browsing is very slow from last 2 days

Dear Amar

Its very easy, First try to Backup and Clear your squid cache

Then regenerate your squid cache ...

Hi

thanks for reply can you tell how to clear squid cache as i am not doing it till now on squid server , i checked the cache size shows only 80MB in var/spool/squid size of cache is more ?

Hi amar

Sorry for late reply,

pls follow this steps

First Stop your Squid server, then


#rm -fr /var/lib/squid/cache/*

then re-create the swap directory structure:


#squid -z
