squid error


i am getting the below error while running squid

error:jan 5 11:48:41 squid[177]: execvp failed: (2) No such file or directory
Jan 5 11:48:41 squid[177]: Squid Parent: child process 0 started
Jan 5 11:48:41 squid[177]: Squid Parent: child process -1 exited due to signal

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Is anything showing in the logfiles that might point to the error you get? Apparently Squid is looking for (and not finding) a file or directory. Open your log with tail -f and restart Squid in another terminal window and see what you get as error. Post that, along with your squid.conf (hiding private information) here.
