the only reason i stepped in to answer was i figured you had headed off to nod already. both net and dvd are listed there though. my vote is definitely for dvd.
I went for the default option during installation apart from choosing ext4 and gnome (which by the way is an awesome desktop environment) and it hasn't allocated any swap space. And I don't know why my 4 GB memory is constantly filling up, I see some processes running by default that might be the culprit but I am not sure what to disable. firefox is taking up 200 MB for some reason, all I have opened that is heavy duty is wolfram cloud. Any idea what the problem might be?
OK as soon as I closed wolfram cloud, a lot of space was freed, so this is something I have to take up with the wolfram people I guess. In fact I did so before and they asked me to clear cache and such and start a forum discussion on their site.
BTW just installed LYX a graphical editing tool and somehow it's nowhere to be found on the computer, neither in the menu editor nor from the command line. Any ideas what might be going on?
Also can't launch opensuse.org though my firewall is disabled, the site is simply not connecting, though I can do it from my phone.
Any ideas?
