The machine is not allowing me to connect to the WiFi at home, only to that on my phone, which I have been using all this while, but now I realize my phone might be something that's totally compromised.
Also while installing the OS one file was missing and it flagged an error warning, don't know whether that has anything to do with this.
As soon as I could connect thru the home wifi I got this:

This conversation was placed on the how to/faq forum with username Somdatta and title "Installed leap but facing issues"
You didn't follow that forums instructions, so your post should have been moved elsewhere appropriate to the subject. But, I cannot find anything by somdatta, or dcurtisfra either. Did you contact him privately? That would not be discoverable by anyone except you or him. https://forums.opensuse.org/search.php?searchid=4339397 should show any of your forum posts that he replied to, but I do not see any.
As I said, the posts have been deleted because they apparently elicited wrong answers, which is bizarre. Installed seamonkey 2.53.xx, now can't figure out whether that is the version I am using for my browser. How to find that?
Surprisingly there's no longer any user curtisfra and all my saved messages have been deleted, my inbox is wiped clean. My account exists though and I was able to log in. But only because I was using the seamonkey browser.
