Some characters missing

Hello

I have had problems with my keyboard lately. I try to type some characters I was able to type in Windows with a French Canadian keyboard. The characters are those you can type with Ctrl+Alt+Numbers and others. For example, I can't do the A sign in an email. It looks like this

user mailserver.com

No "at" sign

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

You don't say which distro you're using or which "environment" i.e. kde, gnome, etc etc

But with kde, you can normally change the keyboard to the one you prefer in the "kde control centre". I seem to recall "regional and accessibility" might sort things for you.

regards

John

re

Sorry! I'm using RedHat 9.

I already changed the keyboard configuration, but the usual French Canadian keyboard, like I said, doesn't allow me to use all the characters. Why?
