skype button via launcher

I use Ubuntu 10.04 lts and would like to create a launcher on the desktop that works like the Skype button (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/tell...-skype-button/) so that when I click on it it calls/chat with contact.

Is this possible please.

Can anyone suggest the command line input i would need to use for this in the launcher ? I know that its skype-wrapper to run Skype itself .... would i need to add to this command ?

I'm confused. This 'button' I a website feature. As you can read, on the website you linked, you type 'your' own skype name there, it generates a HTML code, and you copy and paste that code to your own website. So then anyone that visites your website can easily send you a message, call or whatever.

I do not understand what is the purpose of creating a launcher on your desktop with 'your friends' skype name. You already have it in skype application.

This button is for other people to contact you and not the other way.

Sorry , yes you are correct "This button is for other people to contact you and not the other way." . I would like to install one on my friends computer desktop if possible.
