shockwave player


is there anyway to get linux to run shockwave player

I had a quick search for it but couldnt find anything on Adobe/Macromedia website: adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/
Theres linux download for Flash but not Shockwave, Adobe/Macromedia havn't made one for Linux

No, I'm afraid not. You could check Sourceforge or Freshmeat to see if anyone is doing anything with it, but the last I heard is that it is unsupported and likely to remain so.
