Seeking advice for a script to manage prices and discounts

for example there are customer want to play in:
KID and TODDLER..

for the kid
1 hour = 45
but for the toddler
1 hour = 60

if for example for the kid he got 5 hours to play he/she will be discounted in 15 %

and also for the toddler he/she will discounter to 10 % if he/she got 5 hours

i would enter in this:

Customer Name = "example gerry"
Type = "TODDLER or KID"
Time in = "example 10:00 Am"
Time out = "example 8:00 Pm"

and OUTPUT will look like these:...

8 Hours = 1000

Thank you come again!!!

----------------

like these please help me...

Do your own homework. If you can't even do this simple program, you won't go far. give up now.

Please, don't be so harsh, especially towards a first time poster! If you detect some irregularity, the best thing to do is to report the post and wait for a moderator step in. Thanks.

soniaholly1, welcome to LinuxQuestions!

What have you tried so far? Please post your lines of code and feel free to ask if you are stuck somewhere or if you have some specific question. Don't expect someone write a script for you (be it homework or not). At least, you should show some effort.

Moreover, please use a descriptive title for your thread excluding words like 'urgent' or 'help'. Using a proper title makes it easier for members to help you. I've changed it accordingly.
