screen resulation


hi,
i have del inspiron 6400 and has builtin intel display adopter.
the screen resolution is 1280x800 and its the maximum avalible
in the system --> preferences --> screen resolution.
can i increase the resolution more then this? is it safe for laptop?

Well i see your laptop has a 15,4" wide screen.

1280x800 is usually the most they can take.
so i would leave it at that resolution.
