Hi all,

I am just a newbie which using fedora core 4 on notebook~
Here are some problem I am facing, please help if you have any idea~

1)SCIM
I cannot open this SCIM by CTRL + SPACE either in ENGLISH locale or CHINESE locale
1.1)Also, is there any chinese input method which can work under ENGLISH locale ?

2)Java Plugin in firefox
I have follow those guide which install the JRE from sun and also ln -s xxxxx xxxx already
However, my firefox cannot sense the existense of any plugin[edit->perference->downloads->plug-in], I have install the flash plugin, it can use but still can't display at that page~

However the main concern is how to activate the java in the firefox ?
I have already checked the box of "enable java"
I input the address box with : aboutlugins

It can sense the java existense, but the firefox just can't load any java think like vnc
