i want to know that i have recently installed mandrake 10 and intrested to use gnome or kde but it is running character user interface i dont know how to switch over to gnome plz tell me cause i am a newbie and dont have any book or manual regarding this
So your trying to switch from 1 to the other? When you log in, there should be a button called "Session" you click on that and you should be able to switch from kde to gnome or vice versa. If not post back and we will get it worked out for you.
There should aslo be a setting when logged in to be able to choose a default desktop.
