rpm uninstalling

OK, I think these shell commands show my problem quite nicely:

[root@localhost internet_tools]# rpm -e dcgui-qt-0.2.20-1.i386.rpm
error: package dcgui-qt-0.2.20-1.i386.rpm is not installed
[root@localhost internet_tools]# rpm -i dcgui-qt-0.2.20-1.i386.rpm
package dcgui-qt-0.2.20-1 is already installed

I want to uninstall this package but as you can see rpm seems to be a bit confused. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, perhaps some arguement I need to pass?

Cheers,

Try ' rpm -e dcgui-qt-0.2.20-1.i386 ' leave off the .rpm extenesion. You can even get it down to rpm -e dcgui-qt*

"#rpm -e dcgui-qt" should also work just fine.
