hi
When I try rpm -ivh Limewire , it says
error: Failed dependencies:

/bin/sh is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
j2re >= 1.4.1 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libX11.so.6 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libXt.so.6 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libc.so.6 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.0) is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.1.3) is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libdl.so.2 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libdl.so.2(GLIBC_2.0) is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libdl.so.2(GLIBC_2.1) is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
libpthread.so.0 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0
librt.so.1 is needed by LimeWire-pro-4.10.0-0

but when I try rpm -Uvh --nodeps LimeWire.rpm, everything run perfectly and limewire works fine.
What is wrong?

Nodeps means don't check for dependencies. So it could be that some of the things it does need those deps for won't work.

--nodeps option will cause the rpm to ignore the depedency check ie. just install on this box without checking sys components needed. this may fail if the incompatible components are vital.

in your case, it seems that the current components are enough and well functioning with Limewire

OFF TOPIC

I imagine you mean aMule - which is what I use. What does Limewire have that makes it so interesting (lilili) and why don't you like it (elsheikhmh)?
