rpc open ports

I am running a secure webserver which requires http, https, mysql, and sshd. All the necessary ports are open for each service. However the following ports are also open and I am not sure what they are needed for

rpcbind on port 111
sometimes-rpc3 on port 32770
sometimes-rpc5 on port 32771

all other ports are closed. Can someone tell me what these may be needed for.

thanks

close them. You don't need those. i don't know what they're for, but such high ports are usually no good.

portmapper

I stopped the portmapper service and it closed the extra ports. Thanks!
