Exclamation RH9 Install exits with signal 6

I am trying to install RH9 on my machine and the install ends with a signal 6. We have had RH9 on this machine before so I know it will install on it. I also used my same CDs to install RH9 on another machine so I know the CDs are good. The machine I am trying to get RH9 on and am getting this error on currently has Red Hat AS 3.0 on it. We are trying to get RH9 back on the machine. Here is the error message I am getting during the install. What is causing this error?

Fatal python error: Cannot pre-allocate MemoryError instance

install exited abnormally - received signal 6
