Red face RH9- genom-crash-xserver problem


i had installed redhat 9 and it worked properly but few days before i try to compile a CAD SIS sorce code downloaded from net.it take more time.so i closed the teriminal window and log off. but log off was unsuccessful and i restarted the system manually. After reboot graphical user interface for login is not showing up. a text based black screan with login text. i can login. when i give startx command also its showing error. help me .how can i overcome this problem.

I dont think the CAD program is the source of the problem with X unless you overwrote some Libs or something.

rewrite the /etc/X11/XF86Config file.
