Resolution screen to small on knoppix

Everytime i boot up with knoppix, it's gui is shown in a very small box along with my mouse in it. Everything around it is just black space. Do you guys know how i can increase the resolution (or even decrease if i need to)?

By the way, im running the latest knoppix version and using a laptop so i dont have a monitor so that i dont have knobs to use to adjust the display size .

Thanks

What happens when you press the <CTL> + <ALT> + <numeric keypad "+" sign> combination? That should switch resolutions.
