Remove device links on desktop?

How can I remove these device icons on my desktop? I just installed mepis, and have like 6 device icons on my desktop. I can just click the devices tab on konqueror to see them...I rather not have them cluttering my desktop.

I'm using KDE 3.3

Thanks!

i think the links are in /home/<user>/Desktop or in /usr/share/blablablabla/kde/desktop or something like that and you van remove them from there. im sorry i don't have the precise path but i'm using gnome @ the moment...
