RedHat 9 memory usage: is this normal?

Code:
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 384532 375740 8792 0 92536 145984
-/+ buffers/cache: 137220 247312
Swap: 401584 10072 391512
This is running KDE with IRC, a mail proggy and Mozilla running. With KDE not running, the free memory just crawls over 10000...

Is this normal? If not, any idea what might be taking up all this memory?
