Problems with Ubuntu

I'm a linux newbie and I haven't moved any closer at all because my trial of linux did not work well for me.
I ended up going back to windows. I found my first trial of Ubuntu screwed up my life for a week.
Don't know when I will try again. Good luck to LQ and all you guys.

If you are serious about using Linux, you must try more than one distro, especially if you've used only Ubuntu.

Also, what problems did you have with it? Maybe they're easily fixable.
