problem with vlc in fedora 16


i use hp pavilion dv4 laptop and fedora 16..recently a problem is occuring frequently..whenever i'm playing a video with vlc media player, sometimes ripples are coming across the screen and it seems that the screen is dancing..what should i do now?

first off before you do anything
Fedora 16 is at it's End Of Life
there will never be any more support for it
-- basically it is DEAD ---


Time to upgrade
Please install Fedora 18
and stay current
in about 6 months fedora 19 will be released , then 6 months after that fedora 20
