I downloaded the Australian Government Medicare Claim Form and went to print it.

it took me a while to clue into the fact that the Postscript being generated was not telling the printer engine to rotate it.

after a bit of hunting, I found this page http://doc.tamentis.org/pslandscape/ and making the appropriate changes in the .ps file worked.

is there a simpler way of doing this ?
this rudimentary hack is easy to do, but annoying - imo the application should take care of this, especially as the viewers can rotate on screen (they just don't appear to make any changes to represent this if the document is saved).

try acrobat reader for linux, for some reason it does better than ghostview and others

I have the same problem you told about with all viewers except for acrobat and the built-in viewer of Kile (ktexmaker)

pity the interface is pretty drab ;p
be nice to have everything open source though ;D
