Print queue problem (apparently)

Oops, I posted this in the General forum, but I think this is the appropriate place. I'm enjoying my first adventure into Linux (FC3), but a month into it and I'm having a printer problem. During the boot process, before reaching the login screen, my printer starts printing out about three pages of something I printed a while ago. After login, I looked for the print manager, but it doesn't exist. Whasupwiddat? And what can I do to resolve the problem?

OK. A few cups of coffee and a walk in the woods with the dog and I figured out I had to be root for the service command to work. Thanks. The print manager still can't be found, but I got the printer to quit spewing on boot.

for starting the cups service:

go to cli mode write

# ntsysv

find cups in the screen and start cups and cups-lpd

after doing so just click ok and exit

and if you are not getting the print manger then you have to install the RPM for that

for that i will tell you which RPM to install. cause the name is not handy with me so i will tell you later regarding that stuff if you want some other help just mail me on varunvarde2007@yahoo.com

have a nice day

Regards
