POP3 / SMTP Server

I am confused. I need to install a POP3 / SMTP server for my Linux RedHat box.

I have read about MTAs and MDAs:

Do I have to install Sendmail and/or Procmail and/or Fetchmail ???

Isn't there a single program that handles all POP3 mail retrieving and SMTP mail sending ?

I am using fetchmail to get my pop3 email (easy to install and configure on Debian) and Procmail as an SMTP server (moderately easy to configure and install). I'm also running Courier as an IMAP server so I can use Squirrelmail for webmail.

Hey Dave, thanx a lot for your reply.

I am changing ISP and they don't offer an email account, so I was thinking of setting up my own email server.

Will your setup be good for my situtaion ?

It should be. I purchased Building Secure Servers With Linux and Linux Security Cookbook both published by O'Reilly that were a great help. There is also a LOT of info on the web some better than others.
