plugins with netscape

hi!
can anyone please tell me how to configure plugins such as flash, realaodio, mpg123, and so on with netscape. i am using mandrake 8.0

well, most have directions after you download them and unzip them... etc..
most will go into the /nsplugins directory.
after unzipping, look for a install or readme file for specifics on installing them.. some may differ from plugin to plugin.

I have Mandrake also, but coild never get the plugins to work on Netscape, it just kept crashing when I wanted to view a page that had flash or shockwave.

But just so you know, on the Mandrake CD there is a RPM which contains PLUGINS for Netscape so try installing that, just search for Netscape or Plugins from within the Software installer and you should find it.

Also I found that Opera is a better browser and it also supports plugins, so try that if you like.
