pls help monut


Heloo,
I am new to linux, i had slack 11 instaled and i played a little bit whit it. Now i have installed slack 12 and i want to learn it, pls help whit some links where i could find some command, and help me whit this problem.
I start X and i want to access the root partition but i get this message " A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal") if i open sheel an type mc i can see it's content,but when linux starts i see it monut like RO pls help me.

Add your user to the plugdev and the cdrom groups.
For Slackware-specific questions, you'll have more luck if you post them in the Slackware forum here on LQ.

i've put the root in those grups but now when i acces the /system/storege media .. root part i get an error thet says Permision denied, i'll try to add a nu user other the root to see if it works, tks again
