So when I was been to download the photos I did with my camera and get them from the device the 6.10 said that this had a problem during to get the files. According to the failure message it is said to be be sure that the device isn't been engaged by an other one. Well I think it's a giant nuts. :/ One of my linux geek friend said it's something big stupid thing why the hell did they initiated to use the "new system for USBs"
You will want to post the make and model of your camera.
Some support USB mass storage and can be accessed like a hard drive and others work with programs like Digicam.
EDIT: Okay I see it is the F-Spot program.
If you start your computer with no other USB devices plugged in, then connect your camera and turn it on you still get the error?

Yeah, I still get that error and I don't use other USB thing than this.
