Permissions on SAMBA shares

Hi all, I am having a problem with a share on samba, its purpose is to be a public share with no restrictions to those within the network, all works fine except, if a user creates a file, he/she is the only one able to write/delete/add to that file, whether its a file or a folder...

I know the answer is simple, please advise...

I think you must add that to your smb.conf into

[shared]
#add next lines

public = yes
force create mode = 0777
create mode = 0777
force directory mode = 0777
directory mode = 0777

good luck #no, don't add this

LOL, I'm not that much of a newbie...!! Thanks so much though, I am going to try that, I thought there was a way of forcing it through the .conf file, I saw those parameters in the full readout on testparm so now it all makes sense.
