First check how your pendrive is recognized. Execute in the console:
Code:
fdisk -l
and paste here your output.

Or connect pendrive and execute:
Code:
dmesg
and paste here few last lines of output.

To mount ntfs partitions, you need ntfs-3g module installed. FC2 is very old distribution version and it may not have the module by default. You could use the package manager to see if the repositories are still alive and then install it. Else you can also search for the proper binaries for your version or compile from source.

Hello and wel-come to LQ.

If your pen drive formatted with ntfs file system then you need to install fuse-ntfs-3g package to mount ntfs file system.

download and install fuse, fuse-ntfs-3g package. After that you can mount ntfs partitions.

take a look for similar question.

You can either use yum
Quote:
#yum install ntfs-ntfs-3g
or can download and install the rpm from rpm.pbone.net, after downloading the rpm file use the following command to install it:

Quote:
#rpm -ivh ntfs-ntfs-3g***.rpm
