Unhappy patching (newbie)


hi
i`m a linux fedora11 newbie and i`m confused about patching mac80211.
it says cant find the file on line 5
dif -- git a/net/mac80211/tx.c b/net/mac80211/tx.c
|--- a/net/mac80211/tx.c
|+++ b/net/mac80211/tx.c
pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase help me on this problem.
just step by step cause i`m newbie
