Paste on XTerminal

I'm trying to paste some text from a document to xterminal in kde. But I'm unable to find any option. Please help me to do it. Thanks.

Try ctrl+C/ctrl+V shortcuts and test it wih all terminals you have. it does not work with some of them. NOTE: In my case it works with KDE terminal emulator "Console", but only if I choose "Paste" from menu.

Usually highlighting the text copies it into a buffer and clicking middle mouse button (or both mouse buttons simultaneously with 3rd button emulation on) pastes it, also ctrl-ins copies and shift-insert pastes
