How do I get rid of the password keyring (Ubuntu 10.04) new install that keeps coming up?

password keyrings

Thanks for the link. I have studied several LQ posts, but had not seen your link.

The OS versions are different, but speak of the keyring files. I killed both. Still have the keyring prompt coming up all the time.

I wouldn't mind it coming up once, and saving various passwords for me, but I can't get it to do anything. Haven't stumbled across the instructions for it.

you auto-login to the Desktop by any chance?
IF you do, you'll have to disable that...

Yes, I think that was suggested for ROS.

Goal is to run ROS on top of 10.04 Ubuntu, and have the 'bot come up and either connect to the workstation, or start up by its self.

I thought auto-login was OK.
