partition


ok i have windows on my work computer and hate it! i want to make a partition to put linux on here but there is only one big partition and i dont want to format it since its my work computer so what do i do?

Not really a networking question....

On your computers at work, you better not do anything like partitioning unless you also dislike your job.
You could ask the IT dept. if it's ok to install VMware on the Windows box. Then you can install Linux on VMware without harming the Windows install.

You might read up on it and don't forget to ask first as that is very important.
