Packet Tracer in ubuntu 8.04


I have installed packet tracer in the command line using cd ~/Desktop then tar xfzv PacketTracer5_generic.tar.gz then cd PacketTracer5 then sudo ./install then i said yes to aggree I still cannot open it what do i do from here i have two icons on my desktop /home/mick/Desktop/PacketTracer5 and /home/mick/Desktop/PacketTracer5_generic.tar.gz I realy need to study so i can stop asking silly questions have test on chapter two on monday thankyou.
