Squid is a WEB proxy...that is, ports 80 and 443 typically. Email does NOT run over those ports, so Squid won't handle those protocols.

And do you mean Outlook express via WEB, or the Outlook client itself?? Did you try to look this up???
http://wiki.squid-cache.org/ConfigEx...tlookWebAccess

And the IPtables rules have nothing to do with Squid, and are easily found as well.
Code:
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 110 -j ACCEPT
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 25 -j ACCEPT
..or something to that effect. You don't say what port(s) you're using, what you've done/tried, etc., so it's hard to be specific. Also, Fedora 14 is a bit old...if this is a new installation, use the latest version of Fedora, or (better) CentOS for a server.

Yes...read the post above, and open your own thread for your own questions.

Again, Squid is a WEB proxy. Other traffic is probably getting blocked by the firewall, so you can open ports, or do NAT'ing as suggested above.
