Unhappy noobie has issue with superkaramba and error


Hi, since mdk10 had issues with superkaramba downloaded a patched tar.gz. So I went to my console and did ./configure

It came back with this, any ideas? I think I'm close, hope someone can help, I am clueless thanks!

since you didn't specify, are you noting the version that superkaramba is calling for
and noting the version that you have installed ?
just because you didn't show any error messages, i am just throwing out the idea
that maybe the version you have installed is an earlier version that what superkarama
is requiring ?

linux sure is hard to get my head around. I can do anything in XP easily but something like just installing 1 little app in linux can take days to get it to work. If anyone can help me tackle my issue will be greatly appreciated. From what I've researched it might have something to do with gcc not being installed, but I go to install that and it says it's already installed

wohoo, making progress, got this far so will research the error:

configure: WARNING: libjpeg not found. disable JPEG support.
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.
