No sound after adding new user

Hi all

Have installed PCLOS 9.1 and all appears well. However when I add a new user I lose my sound. Kmix disappears as well. If I change back to root or the guest account all is well. As far as I can see all the settings in the control centreare the same. This has to be a simple problem but I can't see what it is.

Thanks in advance.Level

If you have lost sound only for the new user - chances are that the user dosn't have permissions to use the sound.

This is usually handled in "groups" - check the groups the new user is a member of is the same as the guest user.
