NO SOUND! angry as i was i looked around in my history oh Firefox and then i realized that i had erased it all cause someone else was gonna use my computer... someone help please

somewhere i heard that this problem could be solved with a launcher doing it all. is this possible ?

I'm sorry - what's the problem?
You had sound but now you don't, something to do with firefox and erasing files?

Have you tried a test sound?
What file are you trying to play?
What with?
Did you try playing with CLI and reading the errors?
Do you have the correct sound server selected?

sound, troubleshoot
