ok, ok, i know, i know. this question has been answered multiple times, problem is; i lose the site in which answered it... so im lost again, i had ta restart for some reason (wine was acting up, and i was running slowly) so i restarted and i have sound, 'bout an hour or two later, i go to watch some Bleach anime of megavideo... NO SOUND! angry as i was i looked around in my history oh Firefox and then i realized that i had erased it all cause someone else was gonna use my computer... someone help please

somewhere i heard that this problem could be solved with a launcher doing it all. is this possible ?

I'm sorry - what's the problem?
You had sound but now you don't, something to do with firefox and erasing files?

Have you tried a test sound?
What file are you trying to play?
What with?
Did you try playing with CLI and reading the errors?
Do you have the correct sound server selected?
