No floppy in SUSE

Hi Guys

Bit of a problem and can't find any clear answer on Google. I'm running SUSE 9.1 and just changed my motherboard. After installation I did a clean install, mistake I made was to forget to connect the floppy wiring, hence no floppy drive is showing up. It's connected now!! Is there a way I can install the floppy without having to do another complete install of the OS?

Cheers

The floppy was supposed to be working with no special install procedure.
You can try to test it with the dd command:
dd if=/somefile of=/dev/fd0
If it works, the floppy is working.
