Question Nexxus Cluster headnode; EXT3-fs error

Greetings everyone,

-Problem; Nexxus 4000 headnote continues to crash. Other three nodes continue to run properly (I hope). Problem has persisted for two weeks.
-Solutions thus far; replaced, controller, re-imaged Redhat on box (3 times) and patched the headnote.
-Redhat nash 4.2.1.13
-Error at this time; Root can not login. The display outputs GDM could not write to your authorization file... Could mean out of disk space or the directory could not be opened for writing. Not possible to log in.
-After hitting the "ok" button from the above GUI display get; "EXT3-fs error (device dm-3) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted". Keeps scrolling.

The fix has been to hard boot the box by cycling the power of the headnote.

Appreciate any insight that this forum can provide to resolve these untimely crashes.

Regards,

SB

Maybe the disk is failing, try booting off a live cd and running a fsck
