Fixed...At least for me


I had the same problem with Fedora and Ubuntu. BoldKiller was right on. All I had to do was disable the Power Save option on the advanced tab of by network adapter configuration.

If we are talkking about a laptop that is used in both windows and Linux, I would not do that since it will decrease the battery time.

Not using hibernation seems a better solution (at least for laptops). For a desktop, power saving is a lot less important, so disable it.
