Network Interface not starting up on RHEL 5.5 64 Bit

Network interface (eth0) not starting after loading my VM with RHEL5.5

Bringing up interface eth0: Device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization

tail -f /var/log/messages

nm-system-settings ifcfg-rh: parsing /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

Please assist

Check the content of that file and/or post it here.

BTW; that's a bit out of date, should be v5.10. Do you have a subscription with RHEL? If not, you won't be able to get updates or support from them.
