I have installed linux mint 10-julia.In the bluetooth settings, there is already an option for receiving files.but when clicked on that 'receive files' icon,it is displayed that 'Cannot start "Personal File Sharing" Preferences'and also says 'Please verify that the "Personal File Sharing" program is correctly installed.".How this problem can be solved??

It is possible that you need to start the Bluetooth Manager applet; check your desktop session preferences or startup program preferences and ensure that it is checked to start. Alternatively, in Gnome, right clicking on the panel and choosing to add an applet may provide the same option.

More technically, bluetoothd should be running as a background process, and on my system the applet is named bluetooth-apple (sic.).
