need help with p2p


I am looking for a program similar to peerblock to filter ip's for p2p that will run on fedora 18. Prefer something that auto updates blocklists. Looking for suggestions.

PeerGuardian seems to be recently updated..

IMO these applications are only meant to advertise and help those web sites that sell "block lists". The funny part is I don't see anyone questioning the origin of these lists, the fact that some listings are by definition dynamic or asks about quality control, how they're exactly vetted. My suggestion would be to not bother with that kind of stuff. (And if you really want to block a gazillion ranges you could easily do that with ipset and one iptables rule in the raw table PREROUTING chain.)
