ndiswrapper howto
Hey I just installed Fedora 8 on my Dell Inspiron1501 and my wireless card doesn't show up, so I did some research and learn't I need ndiswrapper to make a dell driver compatible. I downloaded it and read these instructions on how to install it.
"Make sure there is a link to the kernel source from the modules directory. /lib/modules/VERSION/build should be a link to the kernel source, where VERSION is the version of the kernel you are running. If there is no link, you'll get an error at the make install step. To create a link, assuming the kernel sources are present, use the command"
What!!!!!!!
I was pretty good in windows but this blows my mind.
Any help would be great thanks. This forum is cool and actually part of the reason I decided to switch to a UNIX system cuz windows users don't seem to help each-other. Haha.
