Hey!
I have just installed Woody. It is wokring awright, but the KDE Version is 2.2.2. Since this is pretty old, I would like o upgrade it.
Is it correct to edit the sources.list and add
"deb
http://download.kde.org/......"
Then just type apt-get update
and then apt-get upgrade
Is that really all there is to it?
I also have another question:
When I start Linux, it always automatically starts kdm and/or gpm too. And that is very annoying. How can i switch it off?
And how can i chose between KDE and GNOME? I remember a few years ago it was possible to type "startx kde" or startx gnome", but that doenst work anymore.
Thanks in advance
Florian
