Nagios: Mail Alert for a single critical.

Hi,
I want nagios to generate mail alert even for a single critical alert i get for a service.
I tried by making the following changes. But i didn't get
Code:
max_check_attempts 1
normal_check_interval 1
retry_check_interval 1
and
Code:
notification_interval 1
Could any body suggest me the needed configuration for that?

Hello,

What exactly do you mean by that? That you ONLY want one mail when ANY service has a critical status? Or do you want a mail every time a service has a critical status?

Kind regards,

Eric
