My cd drive doesn't mount automatically in Slack

hello,

Is there a way to configure KDE so that my cd drive will mount automatically whenever I insert a CD in Slackware 10.1?

This is not a KDE issue. You have to configure this in your /etc/fstab. Here is mine from Mandriva 2006 beta, it mounts all cd's automatically.

You can also try to mess with automount for the complete automagic.
